The area (A) of a parallelogram with height h and base b is:
A = b*h
We have:
b = 5
h = x + 6
A = 20
A = b * h
5 * (x + 6) = 20
x + 6 = 20 / 5
x + 6 = 4
x = 4 - 6
x = -2
