The given set of values :

(x, y) = ( -2, -3), ( -1, 0), (0, 3), (1, 6)

The expression for the rate pf change is :

\text{ rate of change=}(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Substitute any two coordinates from the given set of values : ( -2, -3) & ( -1, 0)

\begin{gathered} \text{ rate of change=}(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ \text{Rate of change=}(0-(-3))/(-1-(-2)) \\ \text{Rate of change=}(3)/(-1+2) \\ \text{Rate of change=}(3)/(1) \\ \text{Rate of change = 3} \end{gathered}

Rate of change for the given table is 3

Answer : Rate of change = 3
