A football player punts a football at an inclination of 45 degrees to the horizontal at an initial velocity of 75 feet per second. The height of the football in feet is given by the quadratic function h(c)= (32x^(2)/(75)^(2)) +x+3, where x is the horizontal distance of the football from the point at which it was kicked. What was the horizontal distance of the football from the point at which it was kicked when the height of the ball is at a maximum? What is the maximum height of the football?

your equation is off.
the 1st component needs to be negative for their to be a change in the direction of the height. This type of equation indicate that the ball keep going up and away.

if you meant h(x) = -32x^2 / (75^2) + x + 3

the max height would be : around 53 ft

hope this helps
