10 and 3 why because 3 goes in to 30 10 times and 3 goes into 30 10 times

x * y = 30
x + y = - 3
--------------
y = - 3 - x
x * ( - 3 - x ) = 30
- 3 x - x² = 30
x² + 3 x + 30 = 0
x 1/2 = ( - 3 +/- √(9 - 120 ) ) / 2 =
