Assume there is a certain population of fish in a pond whose growth is described by the logistic equation. It is estimated that the carrying capacity for the pond is 1500 fish. Absent constraints, the population would grow by 140% per year. If the starting population is given by po = 600, then after one breeding season the population of the pond is given by P1 = After two breeding seasons the population of the pond is given by P2 Question Help: D Video 1 D Video 2 Message instructor Submit Question Jump to Answer Question 10 B 1/1 pt 94 99 Details Score on last try: 1 of 1 pts. Let the number of fish in the pond be --------x

The carrying of the pond = 1500 fish

Expected fish growth with no constraints is = 140 % per year

Starting population = 600 fish

The population per session will be as follows;

P1

600 * 140/100 = 840 ------------population of fish after one breeding season

P2

840 * 140/100 =1176 fish -------population of fish after two breeding seasons
