Anyone know this?? Question: find the area of the shape. Don’t forget your units and use 3.14 if you need to use pi.

Quick answer :

Area of this shape = 614²

Answer with steps :

Length of side of the first square = 10

It's area :

=\tt side * side

= \tt10 * 10

= \tt {100}^(2)

Thus, the area of the first square = 100²

Length of the side of the second square = 10

It's area :

= \tt \: side* side

=\tt 10 * 10

= \tt{100}^(2)

Thus, the area of the second square = 100²

Length of the side of the third square = 10

It's area :

=\tt side * side

= \tt 10 * 10

= \tt {100}^(2)

Thus, the area of the third square = 100²

(pi value = 3.14)

Radius of the first semicircle = 10 cm

It's area :

= \tt \: \frac{\pi {r}^(2) }{2}

= \tt (3.14 * 10 * 10)/(2)

= \tt(3.14 * 100)/(2)

=\tt (314)/(2)

=\tt {157}^(2)

Thus, the area of the first semicircle = 157²

Area of the second semi circle :

= area of the first semicircle

= 157²

Thus, the area of the second semicircle = 157²

Total area of the figure :

= Area of the 3 squares + Area of the two semi circles

=\tt 100 + 100 + 100 + 157 + 157

= \tt300 + 314

= \tt {614}^(2)

Therefore, the total area of the figure = 614²
