You get the mean when you add all of these numbers and divide by the number of numbers. So, 3 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 9 = 29; 29 / 6 = 4.83
In order to calculate median, you need to sort these numbers according to their value (3, 3, 4, 5 , 5, 9) and find the number in the middle - here, there are two numbers, 4 and 5, which means that the median is 4.5.

The mean is A. greater than the median.
