2x/2=5/2+y/2 25/2+5y/2-3y=12 -1/2y /-1/2=-1/2 /-1/2
x=5/2+y/2 25/2-1/2=12 y=1
Therefore y=1
5x-3y=12 5x-3(1)=12 5x-3=12 5x-3+3=12+3 5x =15 5x/5=15/5 x=3
Therefore x=3 and y=1
