To write an equation of a line, we need to points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2). So we can use the following equation:

\begin{gathered} y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\ m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \end{gathered}

So, if take two points from the table as (0,2) and (4, 12), we get:

m=(12-2)/(4-0)=(10)/(4)=2.5
\begin{gathered} y-2=2.5(x-0) \\ y-2=2.5x \\ y=2.5x+3 \end{gathered}

Answer: y = 2.5x + 3
