First, clear the x to make the conventional form:


x=\left|y\right|-5
\left|y\right|-5=x
\left|y\right|-5+5=x+5
\left|y\right|=x+5

Now graph like a normal equation but remember that an absolute value has the reflection of the equation by the x-axis.
