There are 40 tables in a library, with 30% of them seating 4 people. The tables remaining only seat 2 people. How many seats are there in the library?

The 30% is equal to 12 tables, so therefore there is 28 2 seat tables. The equation for the answer would be 56+48, which is 104 seats in the library.
