The given table is shown.

The total cost for 1 month is,

x+1(y)=$32

x+y =32

y=32-x.....................(I)

Here, x is the fixed cost and y is monthly membership fees.

The total cost for 2 months is,

x+2y=44

Subtitute (32-x) for y in the above expression.

x+2(32-x)=44

x+64-2x=44

-x=-20

x=20

The value of y is,

y=12

Thus, the cost of monthly membership fees is $12.
