We would apply the formula for determining the area of a triangle which is expressed as

Area = 1/2 x base x height

From the information given,

base = 6 cm

height = 1.46 cm

We would convert each value to mm

Reacll, 1cm = 10 mm

Thus,

6 cm = 6 * 10 = 60 mm

1.46 cm = 1.46 * 10 = 14.6 mm

Thus,

Area = 1/2 x 60 x 14.6

Area = 438 mm^2
