A square based pyramid comprises of four(4) tirangular faces and a square base.

Area of a square =L², where Length of the square (L)=10m

Area of the triangle

(1)/(2)* base\text{ }* height

The height of the triangular faces is representented the slant height of the pyramid

Then the height of the triangle (h)=13m and base =10m

The total surface area of a square based pyramid is given as

\text{area of the square base + area of the 4 triangular faces}
\begin{gathered} \text{Area of square=L}^2 \\ \text{Area of square= 10}^2 \\ Areaofsquare=100m^2 \end{gathered}

Area of 4 triangular faces

4*(1)/(2)* base* height
\begin{gathered} 4*(1)/(2)*10*13 \\ A\text{rea of 4 triangular faces=260m}^2 \end{gathered}

Therefore the total surface area of the square based pyramid is

100m^{2\text{ }}+260m^2=360m^2

Hence from the question the correct option would be option B=360m²
