Suicide is a complex thing to understand, and many find it difficult to grasp. Suicide is: the act or an instance of taking one's own life voluntarily and intentionally especially by a person of years of discretion and of sound mind. Suicide doesn't happen in people, depression does. Depression is a leading cause of suicide, and most people who have suicidal thoughts are depressed for one reason or another. So the answer is, "I just want to commit suicide." Depression can happen in anyone, and so can suicidal thoughts. The reason being, depression kills your motivation to even live. You don't want to get up in the morning, you don't want to eat, you barely do anything fun, and you literally just wither away in your own mind. I believe this answers your question(s) if not, let me know and I'll get back with you on it.
