In a recent season, Ichiro hit .378 for the season. That is, he got a hit 37.8 percent of the time (generally and simply speaking). How many at-bats would it typically take to get his first hit of the season?

Im assuming that his strike rate is 37.8%. Therefore he would hit rounding down 37 from 100 which means he would get his first hit on the 100/37 th ball or the third ball (rounding up).
