Jim buys 8 2/3lbs which equals 26/3lbs. Each pound is $3 so if you multiply 26/3 x $3 it equals $26.
Therefore, Jim pays $26.00 for 8 2/3lbs of chicken

Well 8x2/3lbs= 5.33 multiply that by $8.00 and the answer would be $42.64
