(a) Find the ratio of each distance given in the table to the corresponding time. If the ratio gives a constant value, then the train travelled same distance each minute.

The ratio is a constant. Hence the train appears to go the same distance each minute.

Distance traveled in one minute = 6 km

Predicted distance traveled in 9 minutes
