Given that wall has dimension 200 ft.

The letter to be placed = SALE

EAch letter measures =6 ft

Space between two letters = 1 ft

There will be 3 spaces between letters and four letter

So total space required for placing the letter

=4(6)+3(1)

=27

Total space available = 100

To be at the centre we must have remaining space =(100-27) = 73

i.e. 36.5 feet on either side should be left blank

So S should start at 36.5 ft from the left end of the wall.
