we have that

The approximate perimeter of the figure is equal to the circumference of a complete circle plus the perimeter of a rectangle minus two times the diameter of the circle

so

diameter=12-6=6 ft

P=pi*6+2(12+3)-2(6)

P=3.14*6+30-12

P=36.8 ft
