Shea and her best friend Kelly both babysit during the summer. Shea charges $4 per hour plus a $3 service fee, while Kelly charges $3.50 per hour plus a $6 service fee. After how many hours will they earn the same amount of pay?

Write an equation to represent Shea's total pay. Let h = hours worked and
p = total pay

6 hours

The First hour- Shea made $7 and Kelly made $9.50
The Second hour- Shea made $11 and Kelly made $13
The third hour- Shea made $15 and Kelly made $16.50
The fourth hour- Shea made $19 and Kelly made $20
The fifth hour- Shea made $23 and Kelly made $23.50
And the sixth hour- Shea made $27 and Kelly made $27

Hope that was helpful

4h+3=The Pay of Shea 3.5h +6= The pay of Kelly 4h+3=3.5h+6 -3 -3 4h=3.5h+3 -3.5h .5h=3 *2 *2 h=? Then stick "h" into one of the original equations and solve for someones pay to get "p" 3.5(h)+6=p OR 4(h)+3 =p
