How do you solve equations by using square roots "x2+10=0"

x^2 = -10
x = i(sqrt(10)

well first you have to leave x by itself this will result in x2=-10 now to get the x completly by itself square root both sides this will leave you with x= square root of 10 and that would be your final answer because you cant simplify it no more
