1) Gathering the data

Adult tickets + Student Tickets = 432

a 3s

Setting the linear system:

a+s=432

a=3s

2) Plugging into the first equation

3s +s =432

4s=432 Dividing by 4

s=108

Since a +s = 432 then we can say

a =432-s
