As the number of wolves increases the total number of deer in addition to its offspring decreases. The number of deer who died due to starvation also decrease as the deer population decreases and the number of wolves increases.
An increase of the number of wolves shows a decrease in the deer population from 1971-1975. As the number of wolves decreases and so as the number of deer population from 1976-1980, the number of deer who died due to starvation also deceased.
