Find the slope of the original equation by solving for y
y-2=7/3x+35/3
y=7/3x+41/3
the slope of this line is 7/3
the slope of the perpendicular line is the opposite reciprocal of this. (-3/7)
using the original equation, substitute the 7/3 for the new slope -3/7
giving you y-2=-3/7(x+5)
