the quotient of 27 divided by 4 is 6 R3. What does the quotient mean?

__________________

27 ÷ 4 = 6

27 = dividend

4 = divisor

6 = quotient

3 = R = remainder

______________

The quotient is the result of the division if I divided 27 into four parts, each one will have approximately the value of 6 (because in this case there is a remainder )
