the value of the 6 is 600 because the 3 is in the ones place, the five is in the tens place so after the tense hundreds come next. But don't get mixed up between place value and value. The place value is what place is the number in like ones, tens, hundreds, etc. Value is how much it is worth like 500, 9, 70, etc.
