Here are the probabilities for getting a sums 2-12. (you can't get 1 as a sum after rolling two die)
- 1/36
- 2/36 = 1/18
- 3/36 = 1/12
- 4/36 = 1/9
- 5/36
- 6/36 = 1/6
- 5/36
- 4/36 = 1/9
- 3/36 = 1/12
- 2/36 = 1/18
- 1/36

Since composite numbers are 4,6,8,9,10,12. Add up the probabilities for all of those.
/36=7/12
