Make a proportion.(an equation that shows that two ratios[in fraction form] are equal) If 5 out of 32 kids ride their bikes (5/32), what out of 800 ride their bikes(?/100)? 5/32 and ?/800 are the ratios in your proportion. It's going to be set up like this:

5 ? ---- = -----
32 800

Now you you have to find the missing info (represented by the question mark) by cross multiplying. In order to do that, you can either 1. multiply 5 by 800 and divide that answer by 32 or 2. divide 5 by 32 (5÷32) and multiply that answer by 80. For questions like this, setting up proportions are the best way to go. Good Luck!
