e ^(0.016t)=3 / * log _(e) \\ log _(e) e^(0.016t)=log _(e) 3 \\ 0.016t=log _(e) 3
0.016 t = 1.0986
t = 1.0986 : 0.016
t = 68.66 ≈ 69
The population will triple in 69 years if it is growing at 1.6 % compounded continuously.
