Since one meter is equal to 100 hundred centimeters, we can add 100 to every whole number and 50 to every half.
Here is n equation to help us.
(100 x 4) + 50 = ?
100 x 4 = 400, and 400 + 50 = 450
So 4 1/2 M is equal to 450 CM.
