please help. don't know how to do this x

Multiply out the brackets to get 24-8b.
Then group like terms, i.e numbers and bs.
24-8b +3b

This equals 24 - 5b

Well, if you're trying to simplify this expression, this is how you would do it: 1) Distribute the 4 into each term inside the parantheses. This would end up looking like "24-8b+3b" 2) Combine like terms. In other words, combine units with variables into one and combine units without variables into one. 24 would stay because it doesn't have the variable "b". "-8b+3b" would combine into "-5b". Therefore, the answer would be:

24-5b
