If you're trying to find x
First you multiply -5 with (x-9) then you multiply 2 with (x+3)
Which will end up being (-5x+45) + (2x+6)
Then you have to isolate x
So take -5x and add it to 2x which will 7x
Then you have 45=7x+6
Then take 6 and subtract it from 45
Which leaves you with 39=7x
Finally you divide both sides by 7
You're answer will be 5.5 = x

P.s. when you're crossing the = sign you flip the sign of your number to the opposite so you cancel out the original number. Hope this helps <3
