A math class at a large urban high school had 32 on the first day roster. By the end of the week, there were 36. Find relative change. Remember that this is absolute change divided by original amount, and then convert your decimal to a percent. No rounding and use the "%" symbol.

Since the math class had 32, then at the end of the week there were 36

Then the absolute change is

A.ch=36-32=4

To find the relative change we have to divide the absolute change by the original value of 32

\begin{gathered} R.ch=(4)/(32)*100\text{ \%} \\ \\ R.ch=12.5\text{ \%} \end{gathered}

The answer is 12.5%
