6 - 0.25f = f -3 how do you solve this? thank you in advance! this is the one with identity and no solution.

6-0.25f (f= -3) so we know that f is -3 so we should start by plugging that into the problem to get (6 - 0.25*-3) Because of order of operations we do multiplication first then subtraction, keeping in mind that a negative number (-3) times a positive number (0.25) will always equal a negative number. we would get 0.25*-3=(-0.75) Now all we have to do is subtract 6 from the answer we just got. 6 - (-0.75) = -6.75
