What happens when a current moves through a wire and the wire is placed near a magnet

Answer: It creates a magnetic field which interacts with the magnetic field of the magnet and it causes the wire to move.

The current through the wire creates a magnetic field around the wire,
so the wire and the magnet may be attracted to each other, or repelled
by each other.

If that happens, then the wire may move closer or farther from the magnet.

Or, I guess, the magnet may move closer or farther from the wire.
