3 × 1000 × 5 × 1000 ; 1000 = 10³

3 × 5 × 1000 × 1000

3 × 5 × 10³ × 10³

15 × 10³ × 10³

1.5 x 10¹ × 10³ × 10³

1.5 × 10¹ ⁺ ³ ⁺ ³

1.5 × 10⁷

So in standard form = 1.5 × 10⁷
