The reproductive cycle is the menstrual cycle of a female. Chemicals are being produced in order to proceed with such cycle. This cycle is being regulated hormones produced by the hypothalamus, pituitary, and ovaries. The pituitary secretes FSH and LH. The secretion of these hormones begins before the onset of menses. These hormones promote ovulation and stimulate the ovaries to make estrogen and progesterone. The hypothalamus produce gonadotropin releasing hormone GnRH.
