You are a runner and you need energy for race. How would eating pasta (and pie) help your body produce the energy it needs ?

Pasta and pie both are foods that contain lots of carbohydrates. The carbs are broken into simple sugars by the body, which will be used to get that energy. The carbs are the first source of energy used by our muscles, so the impact is felt on the race (I won't race faster, but I will race the best).
