The process where an object or structure goes from a lying-down position
to a standing-up position.
In my job, the example of erection I see most often is when a truck arrives
carrying a big load of steel pieces, and then a team of men get busy and
put the pieces together to build a cellphone tower. The whole thing is called
"tower erection".
