1) We can sketch out this way:

The angle inside the triangle can be obtained by

y + 90º + 24º = 180º The sum of the angles within the Triangle

y +114º = 180º

y= 180º -114º

y=66º

2) So now on the picture we can mark the alternate exterior angles since they are congruent: 66º Due to those sidewalks are parallel lines intercepted by a transversal line (crosswalk).
