What does GCF mean? Please help me!

Great Comon Factor, it is the biggest number that two numbers have in common. example: The GCF of 4 and 6 is 12. You find it by going through multiples of each number till you find the number they have in common.
1x4=4, 2x4=8, 3x4=12
1x6=6, 2x6=12
