Answer: It needs
(1)/(2) cups of chocolate chips for 6 cups of flour.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of cups of flour needed for
(2)/(3) of cup of chocolate chips = 4

We need to find the number of cups of chocolate chips he needs for 6 cups of flour.

Since there is direct relation between cups of chocolate chips and cup of flour.

((2)/(3))/(4)=(x)/(6)\\\\(1)/(12)=(x)/(6)\\\\x=(6)/(12)=(1)/(2)

Hence, it needs
(1)/(2) cups of chocolate chips for 6 cups of flour.
