We have a right triangle we will use a trigonometric function in this case we will use the cosine

\cos (\theta)=(AS)/(H)

where

θ=62

AS= adjacent side= x

H=hyphotenuse=96

we substitute the values

\cos (62)=(x)/(96)

then we isolate the x

x=\cos (62)\cdot96=45.06

round to the nearest tenth of a foot x=45.1 ft
