A load of 250 kg is hung by a crane's cable. The load is pulled by a horizontal force such that the cable makes a 30° angle to the vertical plane. If the load is in the equilibrium, calculate the magnitude of the tension in the cable.A. 289 N В. 1416 N C. 2832 N D. 4248

w= weight = mass x gravity

m = mass = 250 kg

g = gravity = 9.8 m/s^2

W = m x g = 250 x 9.8 = 2,450N

ΣFy = 0

W= Ty

2,450N = T cos 30

2,450 / cos 30 = T

T = 2,829 N

C.2832N
