(3)/(4)w to
(3w)/(4)


(3w)/(4) +8=w-7

Step 2. Multiply both sides by 4


3w+32=4w-28

Step 3. Subtract
3w from both sides


32=4w-28-3w

Step 4. Simplify
4w-28-3w to
w-28


32=w-28

Step 5. Simplify 32 + 28 to 60


60=w

Step 6. Switch sides


w=60

3/4w+8=w-7, add 7 to both sides 3/4w+15=w,subtract 3/4w from each side and you get 15=1/4w 3.75=w
