Let the cost of each baseball be 'x' and the cost of each baseball bat be 'y'.

Given that 3 balls and 2 bats cost $90,

3x+2y=90

Also given that 5 balls and 2 bats cost $116,

5x+2y=116

Solve the equations using Elimination Method.

Subtract the first equation from second,

(5x+2y)-(3x+2y)=116-90\Rightarrow2x+0=26\Rightarrow x=13

Substitute this value in first equation,

3(13)+2y=90\Rightarrow2y=90-39\Rightarrow y=(51)/(2)\Rightarrow y=25.5

Thus, the cost of a baseball is $13 while the cost of a baseball bat is $25.5
