A=841\:in^2

1) Since we have the net surface of that box with an open top. We can mark directly on the picture the measurements and then find the Total Surface Area of that box

2) So now, let's find the area of these rectangles and then add them up:


\begin{gathered} A_(Rectangle)=w* l \\ A_1=2(13*11)\Rightarrow A=286\:in^2 \\ A_2=2(15*13)=390\:in^2 \\ A_3=11*15=165\:in² \\ \\ A=390+286+165 \\ A=841\:in² \end{gathered}

Note that there are 2 rectangles 13x11, 2 rectangles 15x13, and one 11 x 15 since the top is open there is not another rectangle.
