A sample has a mass of 25g and it has a volume of 75 ml. What is the density of the sample

it'll be 0.33 because d=m/v. To remember the equation, think of the m/v as a heart and you hate density!!

density is equal to mass divided by volume. You may have seen the equation d=m/v I remember this equation because my chemistry teacher would always say "i love density" if you write the "m" directly over the "v" it kind of looks like a heart! d=m/v OKAY anyway. Your mass, m = 25g and your volume, v=75mL if you plug your given values into the equation you have d=25/75 if you calculate that you get d=0.33 g/mL
