Hello,
Going downstream ,velocity is 200 mi/10h=20mi/h
Going upstream ,velocity is 200mi/50h=4 mi/h
Let's V the velocity of the boat
and v the velocity of the stream
V+v=20
V-v=4
==>2V=24 ==>V=12 mi/h and v=20-12=8 mi/h
